Many health records in the tribal areas of India are either not available to medical practitioners because they are not maintained or are lost. The Health Locket program is a software that digitises these records and this digital token then is embedded into a physical locket that any of the family member wears. This wearable locket offers a quick medical reference to the health practitioners saving time to treatment and unnecessarily incurring diagnostic costs. Developed by Brandcare the concept is being implemented by a NGO KeshavSrushtee in Maharashtra.
